Darlene DiGorio-Hevner is a Licensed Clinical Social
Worker who has over 14 years experience in working with individuals who make
life changes in order to create a greater sense of being. Exploring new
perspectives can offer you greater insights.
She has worked at outpatient mental
health facilities, partial hospitalization programs and clinics for many years
providing individual, family and couple therapy services for children,
adolescents and adults.
Darlene graduated from Villanova
University and has two Master’s Degrees: one in Social Work from the University
of Pennsylvania and one in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from West
Chester University.
Darlene provides comprehensive services
that include: interviews, assessments and counseling in her private practice
Rice DiGorio Ripkin Counseling Associates located at 326 West Lancaster Avenue,
Suite 211 in Ardmore, Pennsylvania 19003.
She is also trained to provide Employee Assistance & CISM services in any
organizational setting. Military Personnel & their families (CONUS &
OCONUS) are also part of her practice as she helps with deployment and
reintegration issues that may affect their current level of functioning.
Darlene utilizes her skills as a
Behavioral Specialist Consultant through observation of children and adolescents
with Emotional and Developmental disabilities, including the Autism Spectrum
Disorders in the school setting. This
initial assessment is in preparation for the design of an intervention plan that
will work within the home, school and community settings.
In addition, she has an expertise in
providing therapeutic services to the aging in dealing with end of life issues
and caregivers who may be experiencing difficulties with loss and separation
issues following the death of a loved one.
